You'd also have to re-think how Peach/Bowser/Luigi's abilities work.Do you want every Pixl to participate in combat? Good luck coming up with a moveset for Piccolo. The Hammer ability is a core element of the original combat, wouldn't this make Cudge irrelevant? Thudley's ability is the spin jump, which would also be redundant assuming you want to re-implement the Super/Ultra equipment upgrades. Hell, many of the Pixls only exist as replacements for upgrades in the older games.What elements of the original combat do you want to preserve? Do you want Pixls to have 4 moves each, giving them equal utility to the partners of old? That's a hell of a lot of moves to program.Either way's going to be a giant pain in the ass. You'd have to find a way to either import TTYD's combat system directly into SPM, or import SPM's 2D gameplay and maps into TTYD. ![]() My question is this: how far are you willing to go with this mod? People tend to underestimate how much work would go in to changes like these. Programming is basically learning another language, and the experience will help a lot when TTYD/SPM modding tools finally become available.
